Q: I am interested in your Bob Allen Bison pistol rug in the 18 inch lenght. What I need to know is how wide it is at the widest point. I have a Ruger Super Redhawk that has a 2.5x8 Weaver scope on it. Overall length of the gun is about 13.5 inches. My concern is if the case will close over the firearm and zip up.

We always suggest adding an extra two inches to the overall length of the gun to ensure a proper fit. How tall the the scope sit on the firearm?
