    The Boyt case protects my shotgun perfectly. It’s rugged and should last a lifetime. I can certainly recommend the case to you. I have a 48” for my 28” barrel shotgun and a 52” case for my 30” barrel shotgun w/ extended chokes.

Q: I bought the Boyt shotgun case with the leather strap. What is the straps purpose because the strap run thru a clasp that keeps from going over your shoulder. It actually cuts the length in half. What am I not seeing.

A: Mark, The strap is designed to be used as a shoulder strap or a handle. With the strap tightened, it becomes a handle but you can extend the strap it will create an opening that will go over your shoulder. Thanks, Lori

Q: I have my father's Boyt canvas and leather shotgun case that he purchased in the 70's. The leather strap has broke. He has passed away but I would like to use the case when I carry and use his old guns. Is there a replacement strap available somewhere? Perhaps there is one on your website and I didn't notice?

A: Tim, We do have replacement leather straps available for $15.00. You will need to call customer service at 1-800-550-2698. The color of the leather strap is a darker color than the one it came with. Thanks, Lori

Q: I am looking at buying one of these cases for my Browning Citori Feather 20 GA shotgun, it is 43-3/4" long. Is the 44" dimension the inside dimension of this case, or do I need to go to the 48" length?

A: Hi Dan, We always suggest an extra 2" minimum longer than the gun itself for our cases. So yes the 48" would be your best option. If you have any further questions please let us know. Thanks, Briana

Q: I am with Mark. I own one of the shotgun cases, and do not understand how the straps work. I was at an event this weekend and several guys had the same cases. I asked them how they used the straps. No one knew how to use it. Inquiring minds want to know the proper way, please.
