Q: What are the cleaning instructions for this crate liner? Is it a machine washable type of thing?
A: Hi Norah!
To clean the crate pad you can hose off and let air dry. If you are trying to get pet hair off of the pad, vacuuming works well. If it is very soiled you can hand scrub with a very gentle liquid detergent such as Dawn dish soap. Make sure to do a spot check in a small area to ensure color safety. Q: Does this fit in a gunner?

I am not sure about the fit of our crate pads and your kennel. I would suggest matching measurements as closely as you can.

Our crate cushions are durable, but unfortunately none of our dog products are chew proof. This is noted on our website as I have pasted below. I'm sorry that your dog chewed it up not long after you purchased it, but this isn't something that the manufacturer's warranty covers.
• Does bombproof mean chew proof?
Unfortunately no dog product is chew proof. Although many claim to be chew proof, a determined and hyped up dog can and will chew through anything (especially if it is between him and his owner or him and the hunt). We have all had it happen. Your little bundle of joy ends up chewing a very new and expensive piece of your gear to shreds only days after you received it… the products we market as “bombproof” are well built and tough enough to stand the TYPICAL wear and tear of a hunting dog and their owner but not their chewing phase or habit.

Love ours! Our dog doesn’t like and think that makes him hot but he likes just a little cushion. Has been perfect for him. I have sent an email to y’all requesting 2 custom size ones. Your XL is for carrying crates but I need an xl for a kennel:) got a Pyrenee/Pitt that needs one and a another Pitt that needs one custom sized:)

The pad I purchased fits exactly to size in my dog’s wire crate. We use the crate & pad while at DockDiving competitions so it gets exposed to water. The pad holds up well, cleans easily & is more comfortable than laying on the hard plastic crate floor. It even holds up to her digging & trying to make it into a nest (she hasn’t succeeded yet!).

Within one day our dog had it apart at the seams. Didn’t chew it up, but rather just pulled a thread until the seams came apart. I am not impressed that essentially the padding is just packing foam.

Worst ever thought the durability would hold up to my lab bought yesterday and already shredded. Waste of money Time to go to LL Bean for the lifetime warranty!

I bought one of these six years ago and it is in just as good a shape as the day I bought it. I went through four other crate cushions in 5 years before I found this one. My dog destroyed all of them, but this one is tough as nails.

I bought several of these crate cushions for my Cavalier King Charles here at Diamond Valley Ranch, I am a breeder and they are holding up very well over time, even though I wash them daily! The Cavalier pups love them, and they are tough enough for puppies! I will buy more for sure!

I wish that Boyt sized this to the Petmate plastic kennels (crates) that all of us around here use for our hunting dogs. I have the Petmate Ruff Maxx Camouflage kennel size 40x27x30. Due to the taper of the kennel sides and the rounded corners of the kennel, the XL/Jumbo Mud River kennel mat is too large – rides up on the sides and ends of the crate and the Medium/Large is too small and slides all over in the crate. The Mud River pad appears to be well made and would function great for what I want. It is very unfortunate that they are not sized to work in the Petmate crates.
