Extremely well made with very good quality materials. Way better than the cheaper products sold at the big box stores.

Love the quality of the case, this is my second (one 48″ and one 52″). Wish the Deluxe wasn’t so much more expensive than the standard Plantation. Case needs a little more room in the tip. Both my cases feel like I’m tearing the lining when I push my gun all the way in. Hopefully that doesn’t become an issue over time. Otherwise, I love the quality and feel of the case.

Would love to see the zipper go all the way to the tip of the case…tight fit for my O/U. Overall great, rugged case.

Best case Boyt currently has. I would love to see you offer the full leather heritage case again. Also. Would like to see the canvas sleeve in more than just one color (add the beige and more)

I agree with above comments and suggestions. Beautiful bag and I am a fan. I have one myself and shopping for another for a 32” barrel with Monte Carlo stock. A 53-54” length is preferred since some users would also use a sock over the gun adding length and thickness.

Boyt Harness Company Deluxe Plantation Series Shotgun Cases set the standard for quality, durability, and design. Measure your shotgun length before purchasing a case but once you use it for your shotgun, you’ll love the feel and look as you walk onto the range or private gun club. I own 5 O/U shotguns, each one has its own Boyt case and they have endured 5 children and 100s of shooting rounds for over 15 years. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

The case itself is beautiful. However, if you have 32″ barrels (I own a Zoli Z-Sport 32″ O/U) be cautious about ordering this case. My gun measured 51″ in length and the 52″ version of this case was WAY to small. I am not sure why Boyt’s zippers don’t go the full length of the case, but I would highly recommend changing this. The end of the case is so tight that I am worried it could potentially damage O/U barrels if you really jammed the barrels into the end of the case.
BOYT – PLEASE make your cases in the 54″ length! With the ever increasing popularity of 32″ barrels, the need for longer cases is on the rise. Listen to your customers!
A: Pam,
You may measure one of two ways. If you are just going by barrell length we recommend adding 20". If you measure end of barrell to end of stock add 2". With your information it looks like you would be ok with a 48".
A: Steven,
I would continue to place something over the end of the barrel to avoid further damage to the case. I would contact a saddle shop or local seamstress and see what they might be able to help you with. This is not something we are able to repair for you.
Thanks
Lori
A: Hi Robert,
I would not know the answer to that question without measurements but I can tell you the the barrel end of the case only measures 4" on the outside so I would guess that internal will be 3.5". I hope this is helpful for you.
Thanks Lori
