This is an extremely high quality case. The canvas is thick and quite stiff and seems extremely durable, while the flannel is very soft with just the right amount of padding. My Ruger Mark iv target fits perfectly, and the zipper still closes easily with a full size 1911 on the other side. The large pocket on the front can easily accommodate things like cleaning rags, a few tools, some oil, etc., or maybe even a couple boxes of 9mm (although that might be getting tight).
Overall I am extremely pleased with this case, both in terms of build quality (which is very rugged and durable), as well as the design quality (minimalistic but well thought out). Definitely a five star product.

Addendum… the Boyt logo is not blue as it shows in the picture, it’s black leather, sewn on and looks great. Two 11″x5″ handguns are about the maximum size that will fit inside (the 13″x7″ is the outside dimensions – you might (?) be able to fit two revolvers… not certain). On one side, three Velcro magazine flaps cover 2 sleeves each providing 6 total roomy magazine spaces; you can fit 2 single-stack 1911-style magazines in each one for a total of 12 magazines. On the other side (the Boyt logo side) is an 11″x2″ storage pouch for not too big “stuff”. This is a great case for 2 handgun. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a lifetime case; well built, nice zipper, nice soft interior. I wish I could upload a picture because two Kimber, full-size 1911 TLE/RL II fit with probably 2″ of space beyond the muzzle. The two handguns fit facing each other in their own sleeve. This means if you have something to put in between the firearms when you close the case, they’re protected because both firearms are in their own sleeve (only the grips show unless you push the pistol all the way in the sleeve).

Q: How would you recommend I clean the outside of the case? Mine is getting pretty dirty. Thanks

A: Brian, Cleaning your gun case is best done with mild detergent (Dawn) and spot clean then let air dry. Thanks Lori
