Q: Is this waterproof. What kind of padlocks work best for airline transportation.

These cases are not waterproof but they are water resistant. We recommend using a Masterlock padlock with a long loop on it.
Q: How much does the case weigh? Also, is it IP67 and MIL-STD-810F compliant?

The weight of this case is 21.7 lbs. As for the compliance, this case has not been tested for either one.

Q: I’m worried that the foam is too thick because it takes a bit more effort to close the case over my rifle. I’m worried that it’ll mess up the accuracy of my scope or damage it, is it okay as is or should I cut some foam away?

Q: On the H44 case specs here, has the inside length dimension been "rounded down" to 44 inches? If actually a bit longer, what is it? (I have an item to haul that is about 44.5 inches long. Thanks.
A: The interior dimensions of the H44 case are 44" so you really have no wiggle room if the item is longer than that. The item must be a tad shorter than 44" to fit.
