Q: Just received this case and noticed the top piece of foam is glued in. Is that normal?

That is something we started doing about a year ago. That foam can be taken out with a little bit of coaxing.

Q: I own the H52SG Single Long Gun Case and would like to know how to properly use the pressure release valve. Please let me know. Thanks!
A: Just to clarify the use of the pressure release valve, you simply push the valve to relieve the pressure built during altitude changes. There is nothing that needs to be done with the valve otherwise.

The pressure valve is to be used in higher altitudes or altitude changes such as after a flight to release the pressure before opening.

the case is strong and amazing. The issue is is that it does not like to close when you have a scope on your gun, nor a bipod.

Case is a work of art. Solid, secure and almost overbuilt. Bought case from a major outdoor store for my son’s super nova. I did have to take it back for exchange because one latching mechanism was not adjusted right (one latch would not close all the way), and the “ear” on the latch was bent. No problem with the exchange and the replaced case worked exactly as advertised. No hesitation in recommending this brand and this item for large shotgun secure storage or shipping.
