2nd time leaving a review on the renegade. Not sure what happened to my original review. This is a perfect water bowl for upland hunting and watering your dog IN THE FIELD. I’m on my second one in I believe 10 years. My first one lasted for 7-8 years until I accidentally left it in my boys kennel and he chewed it up. I would not feed a dog out of this bowl or any other one like it and expect it to last. My dog will not drink from a water bottle so this bowl is a must for me in the field. I’ve had zero issues with leakage with either of mine. I’m writing this because I don’t want the powers that be to discontinue this product. Perhaps Mud River should change the product info to say……”intended for watering in the field”
I strongly recommend this product to upland and duck hunters for in the field use.

Been using the Renegade for i guess three or four duck seasons now with my Lab. She eats and drinks from it but was a little unsure on first introduction, but when she’s hungry and thirsty enough whether in the hunting boat, marsh, truck or hotel room…this bowl is never an issue. The nooks and crannies do tend to trap food. The compact rolled up size is great and fits well in my blind bag.

I agree with both of the previous reviews as my GSP was hesitant to eat or drink from the bowls and once she got used to them enough to use (few weeks as well) they started to leak. Good looking bowls and really seem like good quality but they just didn’t last.

Good concept, but after owning mine for a few weeks it leaks water very rapidly. As soon as I fill it up it starts to seep out from the base.

Yes, this bowl does roll up and have a clip to attach to my Dixie kennel cover for easy use and transportation, but none of my dogs have really like eating or drinking out of it. Wide base but small opening, so kibble get lost in the nooks and crannies of this bowl. One of my labs was so unsure that she refused to eat out of it and would only take some water from it. Good idea and construction, but bad design and execution. I will switch to the Oasis or Quack in the near future.
