Q: I have a canvas take down case the strap/sling has become stretched at adjusting holes and is ready to break. How can I get a replacement strap/sling?

Q: I have a Ruger Red Label over and under with 26" barrels. What length take down case would fit for this gun?
A: Ron,
We usually recommend to add 2" to the length of the barrel for a good fit when looking for a case. I would recommend the 28" for you

You will need to measure your barrel to see what case you are needing. We go by measurements as our cases are not made gun specific.

Q: What is the total overall length and width of both take down canvas cases?
A: Hi Sal,
The overall length of these cases will depend on what length you order for your gun. As for the width, you are looking at the tallest point being 11" and the shortest point being 8.5" of the takedown case above. For the two barrel case you are looking at 14" and 11.5" for the tallest and shortest points of that case

A: We recommend adding 2" to the overall length of your gun or 20” to the length of the barrel when choosing the perfect size case.

A: We would recommend going with the 30" case.

A: Yes, the 30" will work.

Q: Are the take down cases washable?

This can be hand washed with a damp cloth and mild detergent such as Dawn dish soap, then hang to dry. If you have any further questions please let us know.

I do not see any reason why the 30" case will not work for your 28" barrels,.

You are going to want at least a 30" case. We recommend adding 2" to allow for variances.

Excellent craftsmanship! The zipper looks like it will last a lifetime and leather trim is carefully sewn. I got the 30” case for my Browning 725 with a 30” barrel and extended chokes. I was concerned that with the with extended chokes, the barrels wouldn’t fit with the chokes in but they do. Very well made case that fits nicely over my shoulder.

Outstanding soft case. I bought the longer take down case easily holds a 32″ clays gun o/u, pump or auto.
I bought mine in 1995. I use it alot it lays on the clays car along with the Boyt range bag. My zippers all work fine.I emailed these guys last year looking for a new shoulder strap for my range bag. I told them it was not a warranty issue as I was using the strap as a temp leash for a dog and the 24 year old strap broke. They did not respond they simply sent a new strap in two days!!!! I recommend getting the range bag to match the gun case. Mine are faded and look better than they did new. Good Company

The strap is designed to be extended and used as a shoulder strap or a carrying handle. Once the strap is extended then it will slide over the shoulder. It has the same concept as our signature series and alaskan series gun cases.
