I have a 30 inch barrell on my O/U, whcih case do you suggest?

    • Customer Service (store manager)

If you are looking at the take down cases, I would recommend a 34″. We recommend 2″ added to the barrel in the take down cases and 22″ from the length of the barrel for a regular gun
      Thanks, Lori

You are carrying it correctly. The Boyt Cases are built very durable, and are built to last. This case is utilizing the original design, and the zipper being on the bottom has not been an issue.

I really like this case for carrying around my over under shotgun. I like to carry it over my shoulder but it seems like when doing this this zipper is towards the ground which could potentially let my gun fall out. Should I be carrying it zipper side up instead?

Q: Does the case hold 2 over and under barrels and 1 receiver/stock? Does it work well with over and under shotguns?
— Asked by James Holtz on October 14, 2018
A: James, This case should be ok for what you are looking for. I always like to give measurements so that you can be 100% sure. The measurements for the interior pockets are as follows; Top: 2.75", Middle: 3", Bottom: 4.75".

Q: What are the dimensions of the pocket please? I have a double rifle double shotgun combination with a scope and I’d rather not leave the scope on the rifle barrels. Thanks

Q: What do you prefer for 20" coach shotgun?
— Asked by JAMAR MAURICE GAUSE on October 8, 2020
A: Jamar, Is the length of your barrel 20" or the length of the gun? We usually recommend 2" added to the length of the gun for a good fit. As for a specific case for a specific gun, I am not able to answer that as I do not know. Thanks, Lori

Q: I have a Winchester Model 12 pump. I have 2 barrels for it that I use and swap out frequently when going from skeet to sporting Clay's or trap. Will the barrel pockets hold my 2 barrels? It is the barrel, magazine tube (essentially creating and over under in size), and then the forearm. So there are 2 firearms for my setup. Eliminating the need to totally tear the gun down.
— Asked by Tyler J Riley on December 18, 2019
A: Tyler, I have updated the description to include the measurements of all 3 pockets. This should help you to determine if your barrels will fit in this case. Thanks, Lori

Q: Will the barrel selves in the two barrel soft take-down case accept the barrels with the fore ends attached to the barrels?
— Asked by Jerry Richardson on March 31, 2020
A: Jerry, That will depend on the measurements of your barrels with the fore ends on them. Thanks, Lori
