Q: Have seen reviews on other sites saying head rest clips are not strong enough. Do these still have platic clips or have they been upgraded

Yes there have been a few issues with this in the past but is not a frequent issue. Yes the clips are still plastic but are in discussions to be upgraded.
Q: when i am looking at Mud River products, the color shades vary, and I already have the insulated kennel covers in brown, with a matching handlers bag. The back seat organizer doesn't look like the same shade in other pictures

The color of the seat organizer is a taupe instead of brown. It does not match the kennel covers and bags of the mud river line.

Q: Is it legal to transport firearms in this on public roads in California? I do not see gun racks in trucks any more. I assume they are illegal. Is this considered a gun rack?

California is home to some of the most restrictive and complicated gun laws in the country. Most of the information we found online relates to handguns and concealed carry laws. As long at the state of CA permits you to own a gun, what we have found on these sites states the rifle / shotgun must be unloaded and does not need to be inside a locked container unless traveling through a school zone, this does NOT apply to assault style weapons.
We are permitted to sell the Truck seat organizer in all US states and territories, including CA. We are not familiar with all CA state laws or local ordinances you may be responsible for following when transporting a gun in a vehicle in the state of CA. Please check all state and local laws to ensure you are in accordance

Q: Is this machine washable?

Q: Will this accommodate scoped rifles

The measurements on the two padded compartments are 49.5" X 6.5" X 2" . I do not believe a scoped rifle will fit in this but measurements are the best way to know for sure.

Q: I have a 2002 F250 lariat and my seats dont have headrests. Is there a way to strap these to my seats

I have sent you an email with instructions. If there is not anything that the straps could attach to than I am uncertain the organizer will work in your vehicle.

Q: Can a third Gun case be added to the bottom

Adding another case to this would not be recommended since the weight would be to heavy for the clips to support.

Mud River Truck Seat Organizer is well designed and for my firearms perfect. The one deficiency and a big one is the way the support straps that go around head rest are sewn into the organizer. It has two single row stitches which when fully loaded turned loose on mine
allowing the organizer with firearms to fall.
If manufacturer would reinforce the straps it would be a 5 star product. I took mine to a leather shop and paid them to reinforce it.
I have numerous other Mud River products
and have been satisfied with them.

Great product, excellent quality exactly what I was looking for – except for one thing it is not wide enough to hold a shotgun. Which makes it useless for me. Please consider making one 4 inches wider.

A very tough and well designed product. I bought this before my pup came home to prepare my truck for mass destruction, but can easily be used if you have a duck dog or not. I use this literally everyday whether it’s hunting season or not. Keeps the inside of my cab cleaner and more organized than if I just threw my gear in the back seat to slide around. Very sturdy construction, I have used the break away shotgun case numerous times and it works great as a stand alone case for your exapensive shotgun or rifle, doubles as a waterproof seat in some cases. Very happy with it worth every penny thank you Mud River !!!
