I bought a pair of these when I was 25 years old. 21 years later I am still wearing the same chaps on my upland bird hunts. I hunt about 15 days a year. So that is 315 days of brush beating with my Boyt Chaps. They are the best out there!

Q: Does Boyt have the same warranty as Filson, I have worn Filson Chaps for a long time. When they wear out I return them and they send me a new pair at no cost. I have some clients that have them and I was impressed. Please advise Thanks Jimmie Polk Legacy Hunting LLC

A: Jimmie, I am sorry but we do not replace our chaps when they wear out. We do replace snaps when needed and replace if there is a defect in the product. I hope this answers your question. Thanks Lori

Q: What does a waist size 36 need for sizing?
— Asked by Rocky Trammell on November 21, 2019
A: Rocky, You will need to use your inseam measurement as well as your thigh size when determining what size chaps you need Thanks Lori

Q: I ought a pair of these Boyt chaps last year and I love them. I got them real nasty in a slough with nasty water and would like to clean them....what do you recommend? Washing machine?
— Asked by Mike on October 15, 2019
A: Mike, The best way to clean these is by hand with very mild detergent (Dawn dish soap). They can't be washed or dried in a machine. You may also take them to a car wash to clean them a little more intensely and let hang dry. Thanks, Lori

Q: I have an old pair that have lost that waxed feeling. They seem like plain cotton cloth now. What can I do to rejuvenate them? Thanks!
— Asked by Buddy Gridley on June 10, 2020
A: Our waxed materials that are used in our chaps are already waxed at the factory so the process is already done before we receive them, however, I did find some information on-line that explains how to re-wax cotton clothing. See link below. Looks like you can buy spray wax or the bar on-line. I know Duluth Trading sells it too. Hope this helps.
