This is a very nice gun case. It is well constructed and fits my rifle and scope perfectly. I have had zero issues with the case or dealing with Boyt. I will do it again.
First one of these I ordered must be about 25-30 years old now, and it is still a great gun case - good as new. Strong zipper - great gun and scope protection. I have purchased one for every new gun ever since, and like the fact that it is a product made just like "the old days." The shotgun cases are equally good protection - have several of those too.
I purchased this case several years ago and it has served me well, but I recently noticed that the leather sling had begun to deteriorate and fall apart. It has only ever been stored indoors in a climate controlled environment so this seemed odd to me. I called Boyt about a warranty replacement and was told that the "limited lifetime warranty" only covers the case for 1 year. At 2 years they would replace it but you pay for shipping. Beyond that there is no warranty. To me this is not a lifetime warranty. Just call it a 1 year warranty and stop trying to gaslight people.
Great tradition case for my rifles. High quality and reasonably priced.
Really nice soft case!
