Why Buy The Hill Country
A boot made for bird hunters, dog men, and those who find their peace in open country.
This boot is a nod to Gene Hill—one of the finest outdoor columnists to ever grace the pages of Field & Stream. Named after his long-running column Hill Country, this boot reflects the soul of upland life: unhurried, honest, and built with substance. With oil-tanned leather, a calfskin leather lining, and moccasin-style construction, the “Hill Country” delivers comfort and confidence for long days in the field. Field & Stream x Gokey Boots Review - HuntTested The 8-inch shaft offers ankle support without bulk, while brass hardware and waxed laces finish it off with classic appeal.

Reviews for The Hill Country
My Hill Country boots are a good pair of boots but I find the tongue to be a little short as the top laces rub my shin. The tongue needs to be at least an inch longer to prevent the laces from rubbing your shins when walking.
Great comfortable boot for the price.
These boots have a great classic look and feel. They broke in very quick and gave become very comfortable. They seem to have good durability, although I did put a small scratch after opening a door over them (which would happen on any leather boot). These are just like the boots your grandparents wore back in the day!
