BOYT HARNESS 2026 HUNTING PHOTO CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES

 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

By participating in the Boyt Harness 2026 Hunting Photo Contest (the "Contest"), entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Boyt Harness ("Sponsor"), which are final and binding in all respects.


 

1. SPONSOR & THIRD-PARTY DISCLAIMER

 

The Sponsor of this Contest is Boyt Harness Company, headquartered in Iowa. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, or any other third-party social media platform. By entering, you completely release Meta, Facebook, and Instagram from any and all liability associated with this Contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor, not to Meta.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

 

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or olderat the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Boyt Harness, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or those living in the same household of each are strictly excluded from entering or winning. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

 

3.CONTEST TIMELINE

 

• Submission Period: Entries will be accepted starting October 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM CSTand ending November 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM CST (the "Submission Period").
• Voting Period: Public voting takes place from November 16th – November 20th, 2026, at 11:59 PM CST.
• Winners Announced: Winners will be officially announced on November 21st, 2026.

 

4. HOW TO ENTER & PHOTO CATEGORIES

 

To enter the Contest, participants must complete the following steps during the Submission Period:

1. Submit via DM: Send a direct message (DM) containing your original hunting photo to either the official Boyt Facebook Page or the official Boyt Instagram profile.
2. Select a Category: Entrants must explicitly state which of the following four (4) distinct photo categories they are entering. A photo can only be entered into one category:
o Upland Hunting
o Waterfowl Hunting
o Big Game Hunting
o Hunting Dogs
3. Required Information: Along with the photo and category selection, entrants must provide their full name and email address.
4. Limits: There is no limit to the number of unique photos an entrant may submit across categories, but each unique photo may only be submitted once. Duplicate entries of the same photo across multiple platforms or categories will be consolidated or disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion.

 

5. PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

By submitting a photo, you warrant and represent that:

• The photo is your own original work, and you own all rights to it.
• Photos are not AI generated or contain heavily manipulated edits.
• The photo does not violate the privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
• The photo complies with Facebook and Instagram Community Guidelines and does not contain inappropriate, unsafe, or graphic content deemed objectionable by the Sponsor.Examples: excessive blood, large wound channel exposure, tongue exposure, unsafe firearm direction or handling, any unlawful or unethical content
• By entering the contest you declare that all legal and eithical laws were followed during the hunt and harvest of an animal.  

Sponsor's Right to Post: By submitting an entry, you grant Boyt Harness a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly post, share, display, crop, or use your submitted photo on their Facebook, Instagram, and other digital marketing channels for the purposes of this Contest and future promotional marketing. Sponsor reserves the right to review all submissions and exclude any photo from public posting that does not meet these criteria.

 

 

6. VOTING & DETERMINING WINNERS

 

1. Public Posting: Once a submission is vetted and deemed eligible, Sponsor will post the photo publicly to its official Facebook and Instagram channels, clearly noting the category it belongs to.
2. Voting Metric: The public may vote for their favorite photos during the voting period ofNovember 16 – 20 by "liking" (or clicking the standard positive reaction button) on the official post.
3. Winner Selection: At the close of the voting period, the top two photos that collect the most cumulative "likes" combined across Instagram and Facebook within each individual category will win the prize tiers. There will be a total of four (4) 1st Place winners and four (4) 2nd Place winners overall (one set per category).
4. Anti-Fraud & Integrity Provision: The use of automated voting software, bots, scripts, paid voting services, vote-swapping networks, or fake accounts to artificially inflate "likes" is strictly prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry or individual suspected of manipulating the voting process. In the event of a tie within a category, Sponsor will break the tie based on an internal judging panel evaluating the overall photographic composition and relevance to the Boyt brand.

 

7. PRIZE STRUCTURE & VALUE

 

Prizes will be awarded in the form of corporate electronic gift cards ("E-Gift Cards") redeemable exclusively online at BoytHarness.com.

• 1st Place Winner (1 per category): One (1) $200 Boyt E-Gift Card.
• 2nd Place Winner (1 per category): One (1) $100 Boyt E-Gift Card.

Prize Conditions: E-Gift Cards are subject to standard BoytHarness.com terms and conditions. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize acceptance.

 

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION & CLAIMING PRIZES

 

Potential winners will be notified via Direct Message on the social platform they used to submit the photo on or about November 21st, 2026.

• Winners must respond to the notification and provide a valid email address to claim their corporate E-Gift Card within seven (7) calendar days of notification.
• If a potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required timeframe, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, they forfeit the prize.
• In the event of a forfeiture, the Sponsor may award the prize to the entrant whose photo received the next highest number of eligible, verified likes in that specific category.

 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & GENERAL RELEASE

 

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Boyt Harness Company, Meta Platforms, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Contest or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, network, electronic, or human failures or errors that may corrupt or interrupt the submission or voting tracking process.

 

10. DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW

 

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. All issues concerning the construction, validity, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Iowa, without giving effect to any choice of law rules. Any legal proceedings shall take place exclusively in the appropriate state or federal court located in Iowa.
